Major Energy Loss Within a Home

Intake Vents

Outside air must have a free flow into the attic to help in removing the attic heat in summer and moisture in winter. Without proper intake venting, air will condense and cause mold and wet decking on the typical insulation unlike the attic insulation blow in by CRS.

Hatch/Pull Down Stairs

Needs insulated cover and/or wall around  opening to hold proper insulation.

Attic side looses tremendous heating and cooling due to doors having very little insulation as a barrier.

Whole House Fan

Major heat and cooling loss. Attic opening should be covered to block heat and cooling loss. Also, should have a wall built up around perimeter of opening to hold proper insulation.

Bath Fans

Energy loss from lack of insulation can cause condensation when not hooked up properly.

Skylight Chase

More time than not with skylights having a framed chase or tunnel from the roof to the inside of the house, the sides are not insulated properly, causing high energy loss.

Exhaust Vents

Whether your exhaust venting is a power fan, ridge vent, turbine or static vents, it is essential that they are clear and operative to help ensure that summer heat and winter moisture has a good exit. That helps prolong the life of shingles as well as maintaining a comfort level in the house.

Recess Lighting

Typically recess lighting requires a 6” space around can lights to prevent possible fire. Each can needs to be boxed in to keep insulation away.

Customer Reviews

From quote to clean up, CRS did a professional, quality job. Everyone is polite and helpful. The team did a great job working with landscaping and porches. Their flexibility to get the roof on after the hurricane rain out was stellar. CRS is highly recommended!

We recently had our full roof replaced and couldn’t be happier with the quality of work and exceptional service we received from start to finish. From the initial proposal it is clear the CRS is a cut above the rest. The crew arrived on time, completed the job within the estimated time frame, and did a fantastic job cleaning up. Van isn’t kidding when he says they will leave your yard looking better than it did when they arrived. If you need a new roof, I highly recommend CRS!

I had a very good experience with Consolidated, from the personal and friendly way I was given ample information about my roof and what I needed, to the timely and efficient completion of the job. I felt the prices were fair as well, and the staff knowledgeable. I am keeping them in mind for future building projects as well.

I called CRS roofing and found the experience to be wonderful….start to finish. Service was professional in all aspects, from the initial sales call to the installation of a brand new roof. The roofing crew was thorough, and kept everything very clean. And they got the job done in the exact amount of time that they said they would. They did a great job, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Everyone, from Sharon in the office, to Superintendent Steve, to the guys on the roofing crew – all were so genuine and down to earth and very professional. I was so impressed with the roofing crew – such hard working guys. I could not be happier with my experience with Consolidated Roofing. It was so good, in fact, that the very next month, I put a new roof on a 2nd home that I own. Very, very happy to have found Consolidated!

We are very happy with our new roof, gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards! As others have mentioned, everyone associated with CRS is a professional, and we were always kept in formed of what was happening and when it would happen. Thank you to Van, Steve, Sharon, and all the guys who worked on the house!
